I saw my second Korean-movie-in-a-Korean-movie-theater today. (The first one was 우리 생애 최고의 순간 in case you were curious. ^^) No, I can't make out all of the dialogue, but isn't it fascinating when you stop to think about how the human heart and mind, capable of producing a bazillion combinations of intertangled thoughts, intentions, and emotions, transcend language, race, gender, age, and so on and so forth?
On a separate note, who knew that you could buy movie tickets via mobile, and make your entrance by scanning in the barcode that was MMSed to you? Furthermore, in Korea, you reserve your seats upon payment, which prevents the first-come-first-served game of arriving half an hour prior to the show, and later discovering that you've eaten 80% of your overpriced popcorn by the time the 5th preview is running.
Well, I need to be up in 7 hours for Sul-lal (설날)... Happy New Year, folks!
