Bigger eyes, surgery free

After hearing word that color lenses are a ssul-ssul-free way to making your eyes look bigger (no joke that one of my nicknames is String Eyes), I totally caved in and bought my first pair from a shop called Over the Rainbow in Sinchon. It's amazing how easy (and cheap!) it is to get a pair of contacts or glasses in this country. I paid about $30 for my new set of purple eyes, which will last me anywhere from 6-8 months. Granted, it looks a bit freaky with flash photography and I have been likened to a cat, but it's really not all that bad if you stand outside my comfortable personal space boundary (3 feet?), and it's a fun change. They make your eyes pop as the iris area is enlarged. I'm thinking grey next? Blue's a little creepy and I'm not willing to dye my hair.

Flash closeup. Bad angle? Hehe.

No flash, few feet away.

Yeah, I know I still got them string eyes...

That sounds like fun, I bet you had fun picking out your color. I like the fact that they are cheaper over there. They do look very nice, hope you still like them!
